Before coming to Cutlab, I had been with a company for about 10 years, working at different salons within that company throughout LA. When i decided to leave my old, company my good friends announced they were opening up their own salon. I’ve been privileged to work with and assist some very inspiring stylists in the past, in and out of the salon, including photo shoots, runway shows, and hair shows. Through out my education I’ve received certificates in different color lines including Aveda, men’s barbering, creative and classic cuts, along with classic and creative color techniques. I take pride in the education I’ve received and continue to receive as I think it’s imperative for any stylist to continue education. I love different aspects of both color and cutting. I think whats most important is keeping the integrity of the hair at its finest. With the right consultation and enough discussion we can achieve the perfect cut and color that’s best suited for the client and their hair. I take pride in my finishes as well, so the client leaves the salon feeling and looking her best. Men’s barbering was also a big part of my education, trained in the classic sense, I only use shears to attain that tight manicured gentlemen’s cut, or a longer layered men’s cut. When I’m not busy filling my head with hair knowledge and the latest hair trends, I’m busy reading, writing and looking for new music.
